Mark, I appreciate the paper. Good to review the influence of the world and its thinking on our theology and practice of evangelism. Not good to ever be squeezed into the "mold of the world, Rom. 12:2". Evangelism must be part of spiritual formation and a community effort - gives us all a chance to sort of "love people into the kingdom". Your paper can also relieve folk from a sense of failure if they view evangelism in a wrong way or wrong expectations. They may well find that they have been "evanglistic" just by how they live and what their neighbours observe. But yet, somewhere is the repentance and coming to faith. I think the Holy Spirit uses our "raw material and feeble attempts" and then with His conviction of sin a person can enter the kingdom.

Thanks again for the stimulating paper, Mark!
