REV. MARK DOERKSEN
Mark is the lead pastor at WBC. He first came to our community 15 years ago as our youth pastor. Mark holds an M.Div. from Providence College & Seminary and is just beginning a D. Min from Carey Theological College. Ever mindful of the community in which he lives, and the larger world community, Mark leads in a missional approach, urging congregants to live each day as Christ lived, reaching out to our neighbours in love. Mark is married to Mary and they have two children, Micah & Aby.

VIRGINIA MOORE
Virginia is the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at WBC. She organizes everything from Sunday School to Pre-teen nights and special events throughout the year. Mrs. Virginia – as she’s known to the kids – leads this special aspect of ministry with a warm and fun-loving personality, and years of experience. Virginia is also involved in the planning of a number of city-wide ministry events such as the 2011 Imagine Children’s Ministry conference. Virginia is married to Clayton and they have two children, Alicia and Ethan.

PASTOR MIKE THOM
Mike is the Youth Pastor at WBC as well as the Church Administrator. Mike has been with us four years now and also works at Ignite 107 as the co-host of their morning show. Bringing with him experience in media, as well as personal experience with tragedy and addictions, Mike is a fun and caring leader who relates well to teens and parents. He is currently completing an M. Div. at Carey Theological College. He is married to Katie and they have two kids, Bella (the cat) and Sir Rupert (the dog).
